Last December, the newspaper “El Mundo” published an article about our Ramírez family, highlighting our more than 140 years of dedication to the art of handcrafted guitars.
Thus, it tells how the business has been able to adapt over time, already witnessed in the performance of up to 5 generations.
Ramírez Guitars, the historic Madrid strings played by Camarón, Alejandro Sanz and even the Beatles
This is how the article in “El Mundo” begins, where Amalia‘s work is highlighted, as she was one of the first women to dedicate herself to guitar making, becoming a pioneer and recognised master of our workshop.
We also learn about the experience of Cristina and José Enrique, who confess that, despite having studied degrees in other disciplines, both have always been clear that their dream is to make guitars. For this reason, they are continuing their training to be in charge of the workshop in the future.
In addition, they explain the ranges that exist in a guitar workshop, and we talk about our experience, grateful for having created guitars for artists as important as José Tomás, Yepes Morente, Camarón, Alejandro Sanz and even the Beatles.
