“I make these miniature workshops entirely by hand, using mostly recycled materials such as cardboard boxes from packages I receive, leftover costume jewellery, discarded wood offcuts, medicine containers, blister packs, vegetable capsules…
Occasionally I ‘tune’ objects that I find and that I find useful. No two workshops are the same, as I enjoy creating new shapes and solving new challenges.
These workshops take me between 3 weeks and 3 months or more of work, depending on the size and complexity.
The price I apply to any of them is below their true value if I were to count them by the hour, but the part I give away is to thank how much I enjoy making them and the satisfaction of seeing how those who see the result also enjoy it”. Amalia Ramírez
