Víctor Monge “Serranito” is a key personality in the history of flamenco. His passion, his virtuosity, his exquisite sensitivity, his creativity and his curiosity to learn soon led him to the main auditoriums and concert halls around the world, making him a benchmark as a flamenco guitarist and fundamental to understanding the evolution of this universal style. This guitar, based on the first traditional flamenco classical guitar that José Ramírez III made for him, is a tribute to the maestro and to his friendship with our house, which already embraces three generations of guitar makers. Víctor Monge found in this guitar what he was looking for: brightness, balance, color, power and a “very flamenco” sound.
To illustrate this friendship we made this video that tells the whole story: https://youtu.be/dQVr4Vwd45M
It is an ideal guitar for the flamenco soloist guitarist that allows him to fill the auditorium with a surrounding sound full of shades and great projection. The rosewood gives it that deep sound, while the cedar gives it that aged darkness and that almost perfect balance. It is made to order and you can consult us the modifications you want through our email, so that we can study it and make a new budget: tienda@guitarrasramirez.com
