Roberto Moronn Pérez at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium

Guitarist Roberto Moronn Pérez will perform on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the “Manuel de Falla” Auditorium of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, as part of the concert season organized by the Spanish Guitar Society.

Recognized for his refined artistry and dedication to the 20th-century guitar repertoire, Roberto Moronn Pérez is one of the most distinguished figures in today’s classical guitar scene.
He completed his studies in Madrid, Italy, and the United Kingdom, graduating with top honors, and later continued his education at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he was awarded the prestigious Julian Bream Prize, personally presented by the legendary guitarist.

Throughout his career, he has performed across Europe, the United States, and Asia, collaborating with renowned composers such as Stephen Dodgson, Peter Maxwell Davies, Angelo Gilardino, Param Vir, and Antón García Abril.
He has recorded several albums for the American label Reference Recordings and worked with the Italian publisher Bèrben to edit and preserve pieces from the Andrés Segovia Archive.

The concert program will include works by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Vicente Arregui, Alexandre Tansman, Hans Haug, Federico Mompou, and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, offering a musical journey through the expressive, lyrical, and virtuosic landscape of the classical guitar.
