We are happy to announce that we will be at the Spanish Guitar Exhibition taking place at the Casa de las Ciencias in Logroño. The exhibition runs from 15th September until 8th January 2023.

Spanish Guitar Exhibition in Logroño
As mentioned above, the exhibition takes place at the Casa de las Ciencias, located at Calle del Ebro 1, in Logroño. Through it, you can discover the evolution, parts, protagonists, experiments and secrets behind the Spanish guitar.
In addition, within the exhibition, you will find different spaces such as:
- History of the guitar: where you can learn about the origins and current configuration of this instrument.
- The guitar, piece by piece: is a space dedicated to learning about the different elements that make up the guitar, as well as their interrelation in its construction.
- Luthiers and builders: the place where you will meet the craftsmen and builders of guitars and where you will be able to see the tools and types of wood that are used. It will also be the place where you can meet us 🙂
- Composers and performers: a space where tribute will be paid to the people who have contributed to making the guitar a universal and versatile instrument, highlighting the role of women and also the guitar tradition in La Rioja.
- The science of the guitar: here you will be able to interact with different experiments to understand from a scientific point of view certain keys to the functioning of this instrument.
- Collection of instruments: where you can see a varied collection of instruments predating the guitar and dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as guitars that have been donated especially for the exhibition.
Exhibition opening hours
The timetable for the exhibition is as follows:
- Tuesday to Friday:
- 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.
- 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
- Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays:
- 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
- 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm.
