VII course of master guitarists and composers in Spanish music

The lecture and concert will be framed within this course that will address the position and influence of music from the social concept of education, the relationship of the musician with his audience, as well as the contribution and development of guitar making.

Amalia will be part of the course talking about the guitar built by Manuel Ramírez in 1912, displayed at the Metropolitan in New York, and what became of Andrés Segovia. With that guitar he played the historic concert at the Ateneo de Madrid (1913) that launched his career.

In connection with this, the guitarist and friend Adrián Barratech, will play some pieces from the programme of that historic moment with the copy number 0 of that guitar. This activity is free and open to the public, without the need to be enrolled in the course.

We leave you here the course programme and all the information in case you are interested in registering and attending, We are waiting for you!

We look forward to seeing you at our talk!
