Víctor Monge Serranito has taken the brave decision to say goodbye to the stage and to his audience in a last great tour that began in the Paco de Lucía Festival in Algeciras and that has had its most important start in a festival and in a city very dear to him: Festival de la Guitarra de Córdoba. The master always vindicated the role of the soloist flamenco guitar, imposing in the Café de Chinitas in Madrid a show where it was the protagonist. We owe so many guitarists and guitar makers…
On Wednesday 14th July 2021 we lived a great show full of good energy and good taste, the initial nerves were of no use to dynamite a musical genius who took us by the hand of improvisation through textures and atmospheres that sounded like today. Each of the artists who accompanied the maestro contributed to create a magic rarely seen on the stage of a theatre. As the show went on, the audience applauded more and more until it broke into a unanimous round of applause, where we all stood up to cheer for that historic concert that had just taken place in the Gran Teatro de Córdoba. Victor showed himself as he is: great, humble, generous and of great creativity.
