Guitarras Ramírez is proud to announce its participation in the 7th Edition of the Alirio Díaz International Guitar Festival, to be held from 9 to 18 May 2025 in Quartu Sant’Elena, Sardinia. This prestigious event pays tribute to the legendary Venezuelan guitarist Alirio Díaz, a key figure in the history of 20th century classical guitar.
A festival of international reference
Organised by the Sound Music Art Association under the artistic direction of Simone Onnis, the festival is supported by institutions such as the Fondazione di Sardegna, the Comune di Quartu Sant’Elena and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Almaty. The programme includes concerts, conferences and social activities, highlighting the presence of renowned international guitarists such as Marcin Dylla, Zoran Dukić, Aniello Desiderio and Edith Pageaud.

A diverse and accessible programme
The festival will take place in the Sala dell’Affresco of the Ex Convento dei Cappuccini, offering a combination of free and paying events. In addition to the main concerts, activities are scheduled in social and educational centres, such as recitals at the University of the Third Age in Quartu and at the Il Fenicottero Integrated Community, promoting inclusion and access to music for all.
