Designed in the 1960s by José Ramírez III with the direct collaboration of the master Andrés Segovia, this guitar was used by him in the last years of his career, which is why many performers also know it as the “Segovia model”.

Built entirely by hand in our workshop in Madrid, the Ramirez Traditional Guitar (1A) is distinguished by its complex internal structure and its rich and nuanced sonority. Each instrument is made to order, using solid woods of the highest quality with a natural drying time ranging from 10 to 70 years. The model includes double solid rosewood and cypress sides, with the option of customization according to the player’s preferences. Its top can be made of cedar or spruce, and each guitar is delivered with a handcrafted Manzano case with the house logo. The aesthetic design maintains the classic sobriety, although it may vary slightly in details such as the mosaic, which we elaborate with different variants.
