During the 2025/2026 academic year, the Rafael Orozco Conservatory of Music in Córdoba will host a unique flamenco guitar seminar led by maestro José Antonio Rodríguez. This annual course invites flamenco guitarists to develop their artistic identity from a comprehensive perspective: technique, performance and creation.
The flamenco guitarist’s own voice
Beyond performance, this seminar offers a deep immersion in the search for the performer’s ‘creative self’. The aim is for each musician to discover and consolidate their own style that sets them apart within contemporary flamenco. It is about finding a unique voice that dialogues with tradition, but also freely projects itself towards new languages.
A programme for musicians with a professional vocation
The course is aimed at students of Higher Artistic Education (specialising in flamenco), professional guitarists with advanced technique and conservatory teachers. The sessions will take place fortnightly in two groups (A and B), alternating between individual and group classes to ensure personalised monitoring.
Creativity, identity and artistic projection
The programme, promoted in conjunction with ASMUCOR and the Rafael Orozco Conservatory of Music, offers comprehensive training in compositional, stylistic and expressive resources. In addition, it will feature the participation of renowned guest collaborators, who will contribute new perspectives and professional enrichment.
