From 21 September to 1 October, the 2nd Malaga Guitar Festival will be held, which will bring together great guitarists and important personalities in the world of the guitar.
On 23 September, Víctor Monge Serranito will receive the European Guitar Foundation Award, followed by a concert by Antonio Rey.
Recognition of Serranito and concert by Antonio Rey
The guitarist Pepe Romero will be in charge of presenting the European Guitar Foundation Award to Víctor Monge Serranito, in recognition of his work, his dedication and his work within the cultural panorama of the Spanish guitar.
Afterwards, the guitarist Antonio Rey will give a concert in the Sala María Cristina, allowing us to admire his sensitivity, his technique and his neatness, qualities that have made him an idolised artist all over the world.
In 2020 he won the Latin Grammy with his album Flamenco Sin Fronteras, with the collaboration of singers such as El Barrio and Pablo Alborán.
