The 31st programme of “Ahora o nunca”, which is broadcast on RTVE, has dedicated a space to highlight the richness of our country, showing corners, gastronomy, traditions and businesses that maintain the essence of our territories.
In this way, they have visited the workshop of Ramírez Guitars, to learn about the history of our trade in the construction of guitars.
The oldest family dedicated to the construction of guitars in Spain
During this report, we show the evolution of our brand since 1882, the year in which we started making guitars. Thus, over the years, great artists have made use of a Ramírez guitar, such as Andrés Segovia, Manolo Sanlúcar, Paco de Lucía, The Beatles or Santana, among others.
Throughout the recording, we can see Amalia, José Enrique and Cristina, who are currently running the business. In addition, we are introduced to who could be the 6th generation of these master guitar makers.
We must also mention Luis Regidor, a guitarist who gives us a beautiful melody on one of our guitars.
