There is a bit of confusion among our guitarists when they talk about the 1A guitar. 1A is what we put on the label, where the class rating is listed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What do we mean by 1A guitar?<\/h2>\n

By 1A we mean first class. These are all our <\/strong>handmade guitars<\/strong><\/a>, from the <\/strong>Aniversario<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to the <\/strong>Tradicional<\/strong><\/a>, to the <\/strong>Flamenco<\/strong><\/a>. All of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Those guitars that would not be 1A would be either the Conservatorio or the Preludio<\/a>, which is only for the Spanish market, or the Sencilla. Those would be the only ones that do not belong to our handmade 1A guitars because second-class officers make them get to practice <\/strong>and then when they become first-class officers they can make them.<\/p>\n

What does a guitarist mean when he talks about 1A guitars?<\/h2>\n

When a guitarist speaks of the 1A guitar, he refers to our traditional guitar. The name traditional was coined by both Amalia Ram\u00edrez and Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00edrez IV in the late 1980s.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a guitar developed by Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00edrez III in the 1960s as a result of all his research and collaboration with guitarists such as Andr\u00e9s Segovia.<\/strong> This resulted in a guitar that was revolutionary in its time. He achieved an instrument that was very powerful but had a lot of nuances and colour. It is a guitar that allows you to create and enjoy music.<\/p>\n
