At Guitarras Ramírez, we firmly believe that wood comes to life through the hands that play it. Today, we want to share a piece that perfectly exemplifies that symbiosis between luthier and performer.

A Reunion with Gregorio Fracchia

It is a pleasure to present a new performance by our dear friend and regular collaborator, Gregorio Fracchia. Following the success of his recent appearances, Gregorio surprises us once again—this time not only as a performer but as a creator.

The Piece: “Come le Farfalle”

The piece we bring you today is titled “Come le Farfalle” (Like Butterflies). It is an original composition by Fracchia himself, forming part of his Mythology triptych.

  • The Style: As the title suggests, the work is an exercise in lightness and motion.

  • The Technique: It requires a subtle, almost aerial touch, evoking the erratic yet elegant flight of a butterfly.

    The Ramírez Sound: Segovia Model

For this recording, Gregorio has chosen a Ramírez Segovia Model. This instrument is not a casual choice; its construction allows for a warm, deep projection that sustains the main melody with a rich harmonic foundation.

“It is fascinating to hear how the guitar’s basses sustain the structure while the treble notes ‘fly’ with crystalline clarity.”

    Enjoy the Performance

We invite you to take a pause, close your eyes, and enjoy this musical flight:
