She had to interrupt her instruction during the period in which she was training in other disciplines, which later would help her carry out her work in the company. <\/p>\n<p>She returned in 1988 to assist her brother in restructuring and running the business. The functions were shared between the two; Jos\u00e9 Enrique dedicating himself mainly to workshop construction and Amalia to the commercial aspect, although she also returned to build guitars after the workshop was established at calleGeneral Margallo number 10. <\/p>\n<p>This change was made at the beginning of 1993, returning to the original scheme of a reduced workshop and limited production.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, all our handmade guitars are made exclusively to order, to be able to individually meet the needs of each guitarist. On the other hand, the store also works as one more client to be able to offer the guitarists the possibility of trying different models. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_2 et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_1 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>In the summer of 1995, the store on Calle Concepci\u00f3n Jer\u00f3nima 2 was moved to the new establishment, not far from the previous one, on Calle de la Paz number 8.<\/p>\n<p>After the death of his brother Jos\u00e9 Enrique in June of the year In 2000, Amalia Ram\u00edrez took over the management of the business, dividing her work between the workshop and the store. Likewise, she is in charge of the revision of the guitars built in the workshop during and at the end of the production process, as well as the design of the new Studio and Professional models. <\/p>\n<p>Among her experiments stands out her work with new materials to increase the projection, volume and openness of the sound with the line that she has called<a href=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/en\/product\/auditorium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <strong>\u201cAuditorium Model\u201c<\/strong>. <\/a>She has also worked with the golden proportions, as has her father, as evidenced by one of the guitars that we keep in our collection. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_section_2 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_row_2 et_pb_row et_block_row display-flex-desktop\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_3 et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_image_1 et_pb_image et_pb_module et_block_module\"><span class=\"et_pb_image_wrap\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Group-29-2.png\" width=\"518\" height=\"328\" srcset=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Group-29-2.png 518w, https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Group-29-2-480x304.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 518px, 100vw\" class=\"wp-image-29564\" title=\"Group 29 (2)\" alt=\"Amalia Ram\u00edrez\" \/><\/span><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_4 et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_2 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>It can be said that during his period the most beautiful and original guitar designs have been made, a characteristic that has helped to further differentiate the Ram\u00edrez brand.<\/p>\n<p>Such spectacular designs as the handcrafted<a href=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/en\/product\/aniversario\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> \u201cAniversario\u201d <\/a>guitar or the commemorative studio models: \u201c125 years\u201d, \u201c130 years\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/en\/product\/time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cGuitarra del Tiempo\u201c.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_section_3 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_row_3 et_pb_row et_block_row\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_5 et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_3 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>She also created the SP guitar, now <a href=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/en\/product\/spr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SPR<\/a>, an intermediate model between studio guitars and handmade guitars. For this model, half of the process is carried out in Spanish factories and the other half in the workshop, ending with the setup and supervision in our workshop. <\/p>\n<p>This point is essential, since Guitarras Ram\u00edrez, from its origins, does not limit itself to receiving its design from the factory to sell it directly, but it takes approximately half an hour on each guitar to adjust and review it and thus offers the quality expected from the brand.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGuitarra Conservatorio\u201d has been another of Amalia\u2019s contributions to provide a first step towards higher quality professional guitars. She designed this \u201csimple\u201d and economically more accessible construction model. Currently, it has been replaced by the<a href=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/en\/product\/sencilla-concert-classical-guitar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> \u201cModelo Sencillo de concierto\u201d <\/a>in which construction improvements have been applied.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_6 et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_2 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\r\n\r\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_4 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>She has been the master of her nephews, <a href=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/en\/about-us\/cristina-y-jose-enrique-ramirez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cristina and Jos\u00e9 Enrique Ram\u00edrez,<\/a> both sons of<a href=\"https:\/\/guitarrasramirez.com\/en\/about-us\/jose-ramirez-iv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Jos\u00e9 IV, <\/a>who, proud of their tradition, have taken the reins of this centennial business.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, they are the ones in charge of the family business as the fifth generation of guitar makers, always under the supervision of Amalia Ram\u00edrez, who still continues to design each of the models created in the workshop with the help of the new generation.<\/p>\n<p>Amalia Ram\u00edrez was one of the first women to enter the world of the guitar construction, revolutionizing the way of conceiving the instrument and facilitating her niece Cristina, as well as other women guitar makers, the path in a profession that still continues to be difficult for them.<\/p>\n<p>This would not have been possible without the support of the men of this house, who always trusted in her work, initiative and
