The renowned guitar quartet EntreQuatre will perform at Madrid’s Costume Museum (Museo del Traje) on Friday, October 17th, as part of the celebrations for the World Intangible Heritage Day.

With more than four decades of artistic excellence, EntreQuatre is one of Spain’s most distinguished and long-standing guitar ensembles, internationally recognized for its dedication to expanding and promoting the contemporary repertoire for four guitars.
Their innovative approach and commitment to new music have established them as a benchmark in the history of modern guitar performance.
Under the title “Legados” (Legacies), the quartet presents a program that explores the connection between music and intangible cultural heritage, featuring works inspired by oral traditions and musical expressions recognized by UNESCO as part of the world’s heritage.
The repertoire includes compositions by Albert Hemsi, Flores Chaviano, Isaac Albéniz, Javier Blanco (world premiere of Avá), and Manuel de Falla, among others.
This concert celebrates the richness of cultural dialogue between contemporary creation and traditional roots, offering the audience a musical journey that travels from Sephardic melodies to Flamenco, from Portuguese Fado to the Andean dances of Peru.
